Hold me In your broken hands These cold feet will tie you to the land Can he, oh can he see? Down the garden path to the barking sea And ah, you can leave me in the smoke In the smoke In the smoke & variety Oh, what can I do? Toy trucks Get lost between The cracks in the floor & the ice machine Sweet talk In low tones You're not off the hook just because you wrote "Bag of Bones" And ah, you can leave me in the smoke In the smoke In the smoke & variety Oh, what can I do? Hold me now, I'm consumed by the blues Hold me now, we can't lose In the smoke (and variety) In the smoke (and variety) In the smoke (and variety)

I had another moment of lucidity last night Everything I did seemed reconnected with a past life I thought, "where am I going? what am I running from?" I've been choking in my sleep and it's affecting my abilities Used to have time to kill, now it feels like time's killing me I was spending each day stumbling 'round in a haze Being alright with "just OK" until suddenly it all cleared away I don't know what's gotten into me I'm stuck in a moment of lucidity I don't know what's gotten into me I'm stuck in a moment of lucidity I don't know what's gotten into me I'm stuck in a moment of lucidity I woke up from a dream for the first time in years Gotta write down what I remember before it all disappears

Hideout High 04:01
Well he's loose and he's hard and from the whites of his eyes You can tell he's a liar And when he comes down he bombs around And burns like a fire He takes the bus into town and leaves it two points down And with the old man he conspires They mix up the plans with barbed wire and sand Til the old voice draws him higher He's selling secrets to the wrong side Diefenbunker's blowing sky high Hideout High Hangin' with the lo-fi scrappers who grew up to be tractors Screaming "Mellow my mind!" Til the dog-eared raptors and young minetrappers Put Zambonis into drive And zeppelin repellents used by professors and felons But you can't justify Burning through a million faces and running the bases On someone else's dime He's selling secrets to the wrong side DIefenbunker's blowing sky high Hideout... Hideout... Hideout...

My head is sore My body's bent From the way I've been livin' and a birth defect Well over the hills And far away Wouldn't it be swell to throw it all away? You keep wishin' Straight as a dart You keep wishin' on a wild heart Swing of the hammer Beat of the drum Just sittin' behind the curtain waitin' for your time to come You wear it like a badge - Where you've been and where you're goin' But you can get wild right here at home You keep wishin' Straight as a dart You keep wishin' on a wild heart I suppose that the rain's gonna flow As the caged bird crows I suppose that the rain's gonna flow As the caged bird crows You keep wishin' Straight as a dart You keep wishin' on a wild heart I suppose that the rain's gonna flow As the caged bird crows I suppose that the snow is gonna blow When your beady little eyes start to glow

Uptown Kelly 05:41
Head down, into the rain he rides The wind parts his hair on the wrong side Blind to a road that's oh-so-long With an untamed heart and an unpolished song The head of the old kings hung on high Member of his fan club until he died He charges through darkness and machines and lights And rises for work tomorrow at night When the first song failed to take hold he launched into another, I'm told It's hard for Uptown Kelly & the Brave & Bold Beatin' the inside of smoked stained rooms Shakin' the bats and the cobwebs loose He makes a break for the borderline With a tin ear and a soul-stirring sigh When the first song failed to take hold he launched into another, I'm told It's hard for Uptown Kelly & the Brave & Bold Head down, into the rain he rides The wind parts his hair on the wrong side Blind to a road that's oh-so-long With an untamed heart and an unpolished song When the first song failed to take hold he launched into another, I'm told It's hard for Uptown Kelly It's hard for Uptown Kelly It's hard for Uptown Kelly & the Brave & Bold

about

the Flying Museum Band Toronto, Ontario

"A sonic spiritual of roots-country-folk, a southern-tinged collective that makes you want to cry out, alleluia, I have seen the light. A gritty folk jam straight from Torontopia."

"From the breezy and rustic melodies of their earlier recordings to the more urgent, polished pop of their recent output, this decidedly grounded Toronto band will put a grin on your mouth area."
